"Headstart is a great place to socialise and maintain a better state of mind. It has given me a release from the struggles I have in my own head. Seeing new faces joining the programme has been amazing as well. I love listening to people's lives and how much the football sessions benefit them."

"I joined not knowing what to expect and a little nervous but was welcomed with friendliness from everyone. I’ve come to really enjoy and look forward to Tuesday evenings now. It’s helped me get out the house and be more sociable, interacting with new people, boosting my mental and physical health while having fun."

"When I first took part in a Headstart session I didn’t know what to expect. I’m not the most outgoing person so I was very anxious to go. After I got there I found everyone to be very nice and once we started I noticed how inclusive they were as a collective. They got everyone involved it didn’t matter gender or ability they included everyone and got everyone involved in the session. Overall I’d say Headstart is very welcoming and very fun to be a part of."
